Americade Motorcycle Touring Rally
It's
very hard to explain Americade to someone who has never been; there is
simply nothing to compare. So what is Americade? Americade is motorcycle
touring.
Sure, there are larger rallies. Daytona and Sturgis routinely draw much
larger crowds. Even Laconia , in nearby New Hampshire, will take the prize
for sheer numbers, but Americade, with its nearly perfect cross section
of motorcycle touring, represents the heart of the sport. The only attitude
you'll find at Americade is friendly.
Based in the small village of Lake George, at the southern tip
of Lake George in upstate New York, Americade runs the first full
week of June every year. Registered rally goers, or Americaders as they
are called, have access to a myriad of motorcycling activities. One quick
glance at the Official Program and Guide included with your paid registration
and you quickly realize you won't have enough time to do it all.
Guided and unguided tours of upstate New York and neighboring Vermont
take you over some of the best touring roads in the Northeast, while dinner
cruises on beautiful Lake George and professional rodeos provide off-bike
entertainment. Seminars, demonstrations and bike shows immerse you in everything
motorcycle. Throw in a sprawling vender show, called TourExpo, and demo
rides from most of the major motorcycle manufacturers and you have the
perfect motorcycling vacation.
This site is not affiliated with Americade and the
opinions expressed herein do not necessarily reflect those of Americade
or its officers. Americade and TourExpo are registered Service Marks.
